Zagi brings to Kozarov Lawyers the expertise of a Principal Lawyer and Advocate with a background in Psychology / Criminology along with over twenty years experience in the Criminal Justice System, including Corrections Victoria. Zagi was admitted in 2009 as an Australian Lawyer, Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and is registered as a practitioner with the High Court of Australia. The foundations of her career as a Principal Lawyer were built at the Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP). She was responsible for preparing matters in the Magistrates’, County, Supreme and Children’s Courts for Committals, Pleas and Trials. Accordingly, she has accrued extensive experience in the assessment and preparation of Appeals and Bail Applications, to both the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, and has further been involved in cases under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.
