Our Principal Lawyer and founder, Karen Wong, is one of the 29 Immigration Law Specialists accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV).
Prior to running her own law practice, Karen practised as a senior immigration lawyer for 7 years with a number of law firms, which include major national law firms in Australia.
Karen’s uncanny ability to provide accurate immigration solutions and options for her clients, coupled with her ability to converse with them in fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese has resulted in a large number of successful outcomes over the years and an unheard of success rate.
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1997 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1999. She was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in early 2002 after completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Skills and Ethics from Monash University, Victoria.
Karen specialises in all aspects of Australian immigration law, and has consulted with clients from all over the world (particularly from Asia) on issues relating to Australian immigration law. She has also successfully represented a number of clients in their appeals to the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Migration Review Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court of Australia.
She is also registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).
All registered migration agents must comply with the Code of Conduct of MARA.
