Intentionally causing injury

Intentionally causing injury can be heard in the in the Magistrates Court.

The charge is defined under Section 18 of the Crimes Act 1958

The maximum penalty for intentionally causing injury is 10 years prison.

To prove this charge it must be shown that you


1. caused injury to another person

2. which was intentional

3. and you had no lawful excuse to do so.
