Chris Dimock is an Accredited Family Law Specialist.
Chris was first admitted as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom. In 1983 he relocated to New South Wales and joined the firm of Sly & Russell, as it then was, assuming responsibility for that firm?s Family Law Department. In 1989 he joined Cutler Hughes & Harris, where he became a partner and head of its Family Law Department.
After practising Family Law in Australia exclusively for 10 years, Chris attained Specialist Accreditation in Family Law in 1993 when the Law Society of NSW first introduced its scheme of specialist accreditation. In 2002, Chris established dimocks Family Lawyers as a boutique law firm committed to Family Law. He has now been practicing Family Law exclusively in Australia for more than 20 years.
Currently Chris is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and is a former Convener of the Family Law Committee of the City of Sydney Law Society. In addition, he contributes to Continuing Legal Education programs in New South Wales in relation to Family Law matters. Recently he has delivered papers on the introduction of binding financial agreements between married couples and the Court's new system of appointing single expert witnesses.
