Terry has worked extensively in property, commercial law and deceased estates since commencing law practice in 1982. His experience in law began as a sole practitioner in Melbourne. He moved north 16 years ago to focus on Queensland commercial and property law.
In 1996, Terry added Migration Law to his portfolio with registration as a Migration Agent under Commonwealth legislation, which permits only registered migration agents to practise in migration law. Since then, Terry has developed a sound migration law practice that attracts clients both locally and from overseas. His aim is to guide his immigration clients through the often complex legal procedures needed to comply with Australian immigration law requirements which involve the preparation and conduct of migration applications, including appeals.
One of Terry's main interests is language. He is a foundation member of the Queensland Law Society Plain English Committee and has a particular interest in legal drafting.
The blend of commercial law and migration law is an harmonious one in assisting many clients, particularly in business and skilled migration.
