John Cox is a Director of Cox Lawyers and heads the firm’s Litigation team.
Prior to commencement of his legal career, John completed ten years as a Customs Officer with the Australian Custom Service, working in a Border Security role.
John practices primarily in the field of litigation, including Personal Injury Law and increasingly Family Law.
John has extensive experience in representing injured individuals in respect of Workers Compensation Claims, Motor Vehicle Accident matters and Public Liability Claims. He has conducted cases in all legal jurisdictions including New South Wales Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, Workers Compensation Commission and Motor Accidents Authority.
John's approach to law is to foster open communication with his clients, so that they are in a position to make informed legal decisions regarding their claim. In the early stages of consultation with his clients, John develops a case strategy and timetable which clearly identifies his clients goals and the legal steps which will need to be performed in order to satisfy those goals.
