Averil is a new addition to the Consensus team, arriving in September 2011. She has a strong background in family law, after working for two years as an Associate to a Federal Magistrate in Melbourne. Since being admitted to practise in 2008, Averil has practised family law in both Melbourne and Canberra. Averil hails from Bathurst but has also lived in Wollongong, Melbourne and now Canberra. She has diverse life experience and brings this to her work here at Consensus. Averil's ?down to earth' personality, coupled with good organisational skills and a client-focused approach, allow her to develop solutions to clients' legal problems which are practical and workable. Averil enjoys meeting people and challenges and is known for her capacity to bring new energy to solve longstanding problems.
