Katherine Law Jamieson - a Canberra, ACT Lawyer
Katherine started at Farrar Gesini and Dunn after working as an Associate at the ACT Magistrates Court and as a Court Clerk at an Employment Tribunal in the United Kingdom. She has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Australian National University in Canberra.
Her experiences as a Court officer have given her a strong background in litigation and an in-depth understanding of Court procedures and processes. Despite a Court-focused background she is always looking for the solution that best fits the client and their situation, whether that solution requires the involvement of a Court or not. She has a particular interest in children’s matters and matters involving domestic violence. Katherine is also experienced in resolving family law property proceedings, including complex aspects of property law, such as dealing with superannuation interests after separation and the involvement of third party creditors in family law proceedings.
