Glenn grew up in Sydney before moving to Queensland. He settled on the Sunshine Coast where he's practiced for over twelve years.

He commenced practice on his own account in 1995 before joining with Byron to commence Ferguson Cannon Lawyers.

Glenn is a solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland. He is a registered migration agent and a QLS approved mediator.

His main area of practice is immigration law and trade and export law. He has a particular interest in business and skilled migration to Australia and advising small to medium businesses in relation to all aspects of trade and export law. He works closely with the Queensland Department of State Development and Austrade and acts as a mentor with the Department of State Developments export network which assists small to medium sized businesses who are considering exporting their goods and services.

Glenn has presented papers in his areas of expertise throughout the Asia Pacific region to both legal and other professional organisations.
