At MRH we know that the right advice is vital to
your success.
That's why we employ talented lawyers, with diverse backgrounds in the
law and other fields.
MRH Lawyers has a long history as commercial lawyers in the Bundaberg
and Wide Bay area. Formerly known as McCullough Robertson Hancock, MRH is
a firm that Bundaberg people know and trust, with the experience you would
expect from a major firm.
Most of our lawyers are originally from Bundaberg, but have gained
impressive experience in Australia's capital cities and overseas. They
returned to our region because of our firm's solid, 100 year reputation in
the Wide Bay.
Peter Rowe, the Managing Partner of MRH, joined MRH in 1997 having
spent several years in England as a Partner in a large regional firm.
Peter specialises in commercial property law, estate planning and GST.
Throughout Peter's career he has acted in many large commercial matters
for some of Bundaberg's largest businesses.
Peter Marles joined MRH in 1999 having already practised law in
Bundaberg for the previous 15 years. Peter's major areas of practice are
in Planning and Environment Law, Local Government, Property Law and
Commercial Law. Peter's clients include Local Councils, retirement
villages, large shopping centres, active commercial property owners and
developers, and local farmers and graziers.
Michael Waters joined MRH in 2004, coming from practising in a large
national law firm based in Brisbane. Michael's practice areas include
Employment Law and WorkChoices compliance, strategic corporate/commercial
advice, dispute resolution and commercial conveyancing. Michael has
recently assisted many local businesses (both small and large) with
complying with the new WorkChoices legislation.
MRH's most recent additions to their professional staff are solicitors
Kirsty Broun and Rebecca Curino. Kirsty joined MRH in 2005 from practice
in Tasmania. Kirsty practises largely in the area of commercial litigation
and dispute resolution. Rebecca grew up in Bundaberg and studied law at
Bond University on the Gold Coast. Rebecca is practicing mainly in
property related law.
MRH's clients range from the largest Bundaberg businesses to the
smallest. MRH has an excellent reputation and prides itself in being able
to deliver the right level of service in a cost effective way to clients
of all sizes.
