- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) - ATSIC, formerly the peak Indigenous agency, still consists of Indigenous elected representatives, but is facing abolition in 2005.

- Australian Government Solicitor - The Australian Government Solicitor is a fully commercial and competitive law firm, which provides legal services to government.
- Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) - The ALRC, a permanent, independent federal statutory corporation, conducts inquiries into areas of law reform at the request of the Attorney-General of Australia.
- Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department - The Attorney-General's Department serves the people of Australia by providing essential expert support to the Government in the maintenance and improvement of Australia's system of law and justice.
- Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry - The Department has the dual roles of providing customer services to the agricultural, food, fisheries and forest industries, and addressing the challenges of natural resource management.
- Commonwealth Department of Finance and Administration - Department responsible for Commonwealth Government finances, operations and information services.
- Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing - The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing site offers departmental and ministerial information, along with information on national drug and alchohol programmes.

- Consumers Online - The Commonwealth Government's One-Stop-Shop for Consumer protection information in Australia. Contains important information on consumer rights, product safety, scams, online shopping, and more.
- Copyright Law Review Committee (CLRC) - The web site of the CLRC, which prepares reports on copyright issues for the Commonwealth Government. Site includes information on inquiries, submissions and reports.
- Corporate, Taxation, Financial and Superannuation Publications - Commonwealth Treasury publications focussing on corporations, taxation, financial, and superannuation issues.
- Environment.gov.au - A portal to Commonwealth, State and Local Government environment resources on the Internet.
- Hansard - This service provides access to the Senate Hansard, the House of Representatives Hansard and Senate, House of Representatives and Joint Committee transcripts.
- House of Representatives - Up to date information and material on the lower house of Australia's Commonwealth Parliament, including committees, legislation, and publications.
- Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission (HREOC) - HREOC investigates infringements of discrimination legislation, undertakes public education about human rights and conducts public inquiries. Site includes information on human rights and making complaints, legislation, and publications.
- Immigration Fact Sheets - Published by the Department of Immigration, these fact sheets deal with statistical information, migration to Australia, humanitarian issues, temporary stay, compliance and other matters.
- National Competition Council - Implements projects as requested by government such as competition reforms -site contains a number of reports, agreements and other documents.
- National Occupational Health and Safety Commission - Regulates Australia's occupational health and safety standards. Includes many publications, such as various National Standards, Codes of Practice, Technical Reports and fact sheets.
- Office of Film and Literature Classification - Publishes classification guidelines as well as setting out what happens if the police or customs seize materials that may contravene State/Territory Acts.
- Parliamentary Library - Contains current and historical parliamentary information, plus information relating to elections and referendums and useful resource guides.
